Sanje Annual Workshop 2010




Sanje Annual Workshop 2010 conducted 4th September 2010 at Ranmal Hotel Moratuwa with the participation of all company staff and the senior management. This event organized with motivational training conducted by Mr. Rushdi Jabir, award ceremony for best performing staff and several other entertainment activities.

Today Sanje Private Limited is the largest document management solutions company in Sri Lanka after being started year 2000 as the brainchild of an industry expert and Chairman, Mr. Wasantha Weerakoon. From its humble beginnings of operating with just two employees, the company has today grown into 150+ employees and dedicated document processing bureaus and research facilities providing enterprise solutions to clients in both Overseas and Sri Lanka.

In this event company has tribute
staff who has take part of Sanje team during last 5 years. Company Chairman, Mr. Wasantha Weerakoon also revealed strategic plans of Sanje for coming year including 20,000 + Square feet facility for Corporate office.

Extended Solution Support for Colombo District BMD Project

Colombo District Secretary Office extended the service and maintenance agreement with Sanje Private Limited to provide fully outsourced professional services in System Administration and Maintenance for 13 District Secretary Offices.

Currently these District Secretary offices use Form-less Document Systems for managing and issuing Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates to general public.

Full-text PDF generation project for Central Bank of Sri Lanka

Library of Central Bank of Sri Lanka signed contract with Sanje Private Limited to digitize historical and important library books, generate full-text PDF and released to destination electronic document management system for on-line retrieval. The key objectives of this project includes having disaster recovery options and enable online search and retrieval of important materials to authorized users.

FORMS Processing Services for Rubber Development Survey

Sanje Private Limited signed contract with Rubber Development Department Sri Lanka to provide survey forms processing services using advanced FORMS recognition technologies including OCR - Optical Character Recognition, ICR - Intelligent Character Recognition and OMR - Optical Mark Recognition.

Under these services Sanje Private Limited will design special ICR based survey form to gather statistical information, extract data using FORMS recognition technologies and release for business intelligence and analysis purposes.

Milestone Document Management Project started today with Department of Immigration and Emigration Sri Lanka

One of the largest electronic document management project in Sri Lankan history started today (1st March 2010) with Department of Immigration and Emigration Sri Lanka. Under this project Sanje Lanka Private Limited provide all the technologies and resources to digitize & index passport related documents enabling online search, retrieval and manipulation.

The first phase will begin by digitizing of 10.5 million records within a short spell of 6 month project period. Sanje Lanka will deploy industry standard document capture setup with daily throughput volume of 80,000 pages to meet the expected project deadline.

The key goals of this project includes,

  • Reducing the cost on file storage space
  • Reducing cost of finding records, implement productive electronic document management environment with enterprise search, online retrieval and sharing
  • Implement proper disaster recovery setup with electronic backups
